Zen Samurai
This is my 2nd game ever created and I'm glad to do it for another jam! This time I've learned even more about Godot and hopefully people can see that.
How to play?
- A/D or Left/Right arrow - to change the Samurai's position
- Space - to attack and strike the correct color
Story:
The theme was "flow" and when I started putting everything on the paper I realized that for me "being in the flow" meant "being in the zone". A moment of complete focus. This is what I tried to achieve with my game.
Known issues:
- It needs more sounds - it was already way too late for me so I had to finish it up like this
- More levels - Right now it only has two levels but I can easily add more (pretty proud of the level system I've created for this)
- Retry - Sometimes when you retry the game after you've entered the Zen Mode - some variables like score do not go back to 0 - didn't have enough time to fix this one
For the sake of recording what I've learned during this jam: lighting, collisions, resources, preloads.
